at morries we find the subject of mixed drinks agreeably intoxicating. using elements of horticulture, history and originality we are in the pursuit of delivering an experience that will expand your senses.
from its medicinal roots, over 200 years ago, bartenders around the world have been instilling passion and innovation into the craft of cocktails.
morries bartenders get their kicks from complementing the world’s best spirits with local produce and house made concoctions. we encourage the spirit of looking outside the box and stepping into a world encompassing an array of moods for every level of drinker.
these are drinks for the summer season.
“shimmy shimmy ya shimmy yo shimmy yay!” drinks to keep you level, which might sound a bit contradicting to quoted “O.D.B” but shims are something he could have learnt a lesson from had he’d been a morries drinker. sometimes easing your way up or down is the best option apposed to throttle on or off.

think chocolate orange driven by tequila… the berry farms chocolate liqueur is stirred up with 1800 anejo and herradura reposado with a splash of campari to keep it bitter. this is not for the faint hearted, seriously!
MARTINI, MANHATTAN, OLD FASHION
we also kick ass at making classics and love doing it. if that’s more your thing try an old fashion, manhattan or martini.
some things are never meant to be F#$%d with, like a martini, or the song “love will tear us apart” by joy division. so we’ll stay clear of that, however we do like to tinker quite a bit, and sometimes a wee tinker re creates a classic drink into a modern masterpiece
chilli infused with nitrogen oxide cazadores blanco tequila with a dash of lime juice coriander and agave nectar shaken with cracked ice makes this the freshest thing your tastebuds have ever had!

the original boilermaker was for “cowboys” drinking a shot of jacks in a pint of budwieser. we’ve come a long way since then. being beer lovers we took the boilermaker idea and made some gorgeous concoctions and pairings for you to try
named after the fella most likely sitting at the bar right now. we’ve put together a rosemary and ginger shrub shaken with herradura reposado tequila, pineapple juice, st germain elderflower, and a dash of orange bitters. then we top it up with bootleg’s speakeasy IPA.
the groves american style whisky and limeburners honey liqueur are stirred with rhubarb bitters and topped with colonial draught for a very floral, pretty aromatic beer cocktail.

TART GIN COOLER
an option for all you gin and tonicers out there. tanqueray gin and aperol are split with squeezed pink grapefruit, topped with a dash of peychaud bitters, splash of tonic and fresh basil. There’s no hint of sweetness in this one, it’s tart, full of gin, and refreshing.
THE RUM BOAT FLOAT
by far the most favourite of morries drinks. lemon, lime demerara sugar and passion fruit are shaken vigorously with matusalem classico rum and a dash of maraschino liqueur then strained over ice into a jar. Very tiki, very rum

notta colada! this is our twist on the famous coconut pineapple drink served up in a coconut rimmed coupe, shaken with fresh lime juice and a dash of orange bitters
